Rolling Ridge Ranch Animal Park welcomes many school field trips each year. The groups range from Preschool to High School. The field trips offer a very unique, fun, and educational experience. The teachers and parents that accompany the students have just as much fun as the students do enjoying the animals and birds from around the world.
Your group will be taken out into the 80-acre animal park by one of our experienced tour guides in one of our horse drawn covered wagons. On the journey your tour guide will be pointing out some of the more than 500 animals that are in this beautiful wooded rolling animal park. Such as the Aoudad, White Elk, and Eland. The guide will take the time to stop at different points so you can feed the animals from the wagon, like the Grant Zebra, Water Buffalo, and Sika Deer.
Your guide will be more than happy to answer the questions that you and your students might have.
After your wagon tour is over there is still more to see and do. There is a big petting zoo where the group can be up close with the likes of a Miniature Donkey, baby calves, sheep, rabbits, and goats.
You can walk around and see the Camels, Kangaroos, Spider Monkeys, African Crested Porcupine, Ring-tail Lemur, and much more. You can sit and relax in our picnic area and visit our gift shop.
To make the trip more exciting for the group many teachers like to have the students learn a little about some of the animals that they will be seeing before they come. If you are interested in more information to help prepare just feel free to let us know.
We have special rates for school field trips. We recommend you make reservations as early as you can. Let us know how many students, teachers, and all that will be attending.
